At Heart and Sole Therapy, our mission is to empower children and their families by providing comprehensive, compassionate, and individualized pediatric therapy services with a collaborative team based approach. Through occupational therapy, pelvic floor therapy, physical therapy and speech therapy, we aim to foster each child’s unique strengths, promote functional independence, and support their developmental journey. We strive to enhance the quality of life
of each child we serve through collaboration, innovation, and evidence-based practices, ensuring they can reach their full potential.
Pelvic Health Therapy is a therapy that can be uniquely customized to each individual person. We know that most pregnant and postpartum women don’t get the support they need from the traditional healthcare system to care for themselves and manage pelvic floor challenges. Most men don’t even know that pelvic floor therapy is an option for them AND most parents are left in the dark to deal with their child’s pelvic floor dysfunction.
At Heart and Sole Pelvic Therapy when we say ‘that’s not normal’ what we mean is, it is not something you should have to live with. It is something you can rehabilitate and improve. We can give you the guide in strengthening and coordinating pelvic floor muscles, learning how to breathe and move in a way that supports the pelvic floor, these symptoms that so many live with for years can be drastically improved as soon as a few weeks.
Men’s pelvic health refers to the health of the muscles and tissues that support the bladder, rectum, and prostate. Pelvic floor issues can affect urination, bowel movements, and sexual function. Aging, surgery (especially prostate surgery), obesity, chronic coughing, and heavy lifting can effect the function of a man’s pelvic health.
Bringing new life into the world is a joyful and momentous event that deserves a celebration. However, pregnancy and childbirth puts a considerable amount of strain on a woman’s body. The pelvic, core, and hip muscles change drastically throughout pregnancy and the postpartum period.
A strong and properly functioning pelvic floor is vital for children to develop appropriate bowel and bladder control. Pediatric pelvic floor dysfunction affects at least 20% of school aged children worldwide.
Women deserve more! Access and awareness to services that provide a holistic approach for relief of common, but NOT normal, conditions. Pelvic floor therapy for women goes beyond kegels.

Britta Dalbey connected so well with my daughter and helped to evaluate her speech needs and develop and implement a treatment plan. I knew I wanted her to help with my son when we discovered he needed help with speech as well. She proved just as invaluable with him. We saw excellent results and my kids always looked forward to visits with Britta.

Courtney is amazing! She is very understanding, listens, asks questions, and really gets up in your business, which is a good thing if you want a strong, respectable, and straight forward therapist. I felt extremely comfortable when telling her all about myself. She does not make you feel embarrassed or self-conscious at all. I would recommend. . .
